On August 5, 2020, four kittens were brought to the clinic I work at and were very sick and malnourished. Their previous owner was going to take them to a shelter but I knew they would not get the round-the-clock care they needed if they were there. So I talked to the previous owner and asked if she would feel comfortable surrendering these kittens to me and let me take them in and nurse them back to health. It was an answer to her prayers and now I was four kittens richer! HA!
These four kittens were suffering from an upper respiratory infection and were starving! After an exam with the doctor, they were given a long list of meds that had to be given over the next two weeks. They were troopers and took all their oral and eye meds so well. After the first two days of meds and free feeding of kitten food, they were already so much better an starting to act like healthy kittens!
As of September 7, they are about 7 weeks old and ready to be adopted. There are two boys, Pumpkin and Potato, and two girls, Princess and Peach, and they are some of the most playful, friendly, and fun kittens I've been around. They are beautiful kittens and will make great additions to fun, active families. If you are interested in adopting one of them, contact me (Caroline Sheaff).
